About
Robin Boyer, RN
I am a Registered Nurse (RN) with over 35 years of experience across healthcare settings of hospitals, homes, and clinics. My professional goals focus on the health and holistic well-being of all persons.
In 2018, I began a daily practice of mindfulness, the practice of paying attention to what is present in the moment without judgement or creating stories of what is here now. In 2021, I completed studies of mindfulness at Brown University and became a qualified teacher of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), the mindfulness training course created by Jon Kabat-Zinn. This course, MBSR, has evidence-based support of offering wellness benefits to many participants.
I began teaching mindfulness practices in 2021, and MBSR in 2022. My intentions remain to offer support for the health and wellness of all persons. I share mindfulness practices with anyone who is curious or interested in discovering their inherent qualities of a caring heart and kindness towards themselves and all others. Building skills of compassion can decrease suffering in life and enhance overall wellness and health.
